Mrs. Sarah J. Arney Joins The Silent Majority
Mrs. Sarah J. Arney died at 4:30 o'clock Monday evening at the home of her mother, Mrs. Charity Wilkinson, 225 East Wayne Street, after an illness of one week. Death was due to inflammation of the bowels.
Mrs. Arney was a widow, sixty-two years of age, and was well known as a nurse. The surviving relatives include a son Frank Arney of Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Addie Rennison who resides on the McKinnie Farm; the aged mother, Mrs. Charity Wilkinson, a brother, Detective T. A. Wilkinson, of the Nickel Plate railroad; and three sisters - Mrs. Minnie Howland, of Lee, Mass.; Mrs. Laura E. Morton, of Rockford, Ohio; and Mrs. Lotta Lindsay of Oklahoma City. Mrs. Howland and Mrs. Morton have been at the bedside of their sister several days.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 from the residence and at 2 o'clock from the Berry Street M. E. Church
