Effie J. Stultz, 90, of Route 2, died at 11:59 pm Monday in Vermillion Convalescent Center. She was a homemaker. She was born Dec. 21, 1897, in Clinton to John William Brewer and Ella Phipps Brewer. Her husband, Lee Roy Stultz, died in September 1977. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Herrick of Greencastle and Vivian Stickle of Hobart; one son, William Stultz of Clinton; one sister, Hanna Brewer of French Lick; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 1:30 pm Thursday in Frist Funeral Home. Burial is in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 pm today.
