OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Viola Lettie Owen, 68, died in her home as 312 Sherman Street, Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock. She had been ill for a year and death was due to heart disease.

The decedent was born March 11, 1880 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Henry and Emma Jane (Wagner) McFall. She was married on Dec. 25, 1900 in Wabash to Ed T. Owen, who preceded her in death. She had been a resident of Wabash for 50 years. She was a member of the North Side E.U.B. church.

Survivors include the children Paul, Wabash; Mrs. Louise Banks, Wabash; Donald, Lafayette; Mrs. Dorothy Goff, South Whitley; James, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Lila Pore, Wabash. Other survivors are a sister, Miss Hattie McFall, Wabash and a brother Charles McFall, Anderson, and 17 grandchildren.

The body has been taken to the Jones Funeral home where services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Wilbur Stouder and the Rev. Flossie Farley officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
