Services for Mildred Leona Waters, 80, Davenport, were held November 6 in the Davenport First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Mitchell, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Carroll Fairbanks.
Interment was in New Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Waters died Saturday in a Shawnee hospital. She was born Feb. 2, 1899 at Orlando, Okla.
She married Alfred P. Waters Sept. 5, 1917 at Chandler. He preceded her in death April 11, 1965. Two sons and two daughters also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Waters was a member of the Davenport First Baptist Church and had lived most all of her life in the Davenport area.
Survivors include three sons, A. P. Waters, Jr., Chandler, E. E. (Sam) Waters, Forgan, Okla., Kenneth Waters, Stroud; four daughters, Mrs. Lois Bromley, Mrs. Anna Lou Swann and Miss Virginia Waters, al of Davenport, Mrs. Betty McKeever, Kingfisher; two brothers, Bob Townsley, Santa Anna, Calif., Willis Townsley, Oxnard, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Freda Taller, Tecumseh; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Curry Funeral Home, Chandler, was in charge of arrangements."
