Mr. Ott was born in Traer, Iowa. He married Thora C. Thompson in Davenport in 1917.
He was a life member of Mohassen Grotto and past president and former board member of Club Mokan.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Harvey (Barbara) Johansen, Jr., Bettendorf; three grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Carl (Irene) Schwartz, Davenport; Mrs. Richard (Alice) Frizzelle, Sun City, Ariz.; and Mrs. William (Margaret) Hall, Stockton, Calif., and a brother, Harold H. Ott, Davenport.
