Mrs. Nola Stidham Tyler age 91 of 4225 Long Beach Road, Oak Island died Friday January 1, 2010 at her home.
Mrs. Tyler was born in Leslie County, KY on March 10, 1918 and was the daughter of the late William and Nancy Lewis Stidham. She was wife of the late Emerson Tyler. Mrs. Tyler was a retired cafeteria manager and she was a member of Ocean View United Methodist Church of Oak Island.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday January 4, 2010 at 11:00 am at Ocean View United Methodist Church with Pastor Fred Roberts officiating.
Burial will follow in the Northwood Cemetery, Southport
Mrs. Tyler's nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 3-6 this afternoon at Peacock-Newnam & White Funeral service.
