Son of Nathaniel Andre & Emma Matilda (Brannan) Andre
Baptized Jun 13, 1869 at St John the Evangelist, Lambeth, Middlesex, England.

Arrived in U S in 1882

Married about 1906
Occupation : Ditch Tender

Family plots are on their land.

In 1951, he wrote a poem entitled "Taxes"

TAXES
I looked up Noah Webster for the meaning of a word;
A word significantly used, and one you've often heard.
The word is TAX, it rhymes with AXE — coincidence you'll say;
but this I'm sure you'll pay the score —you always have to pay.
The other day to my dismay, I happened to see a chart
'Twas in a popular magazine and it gave me quite a start.
It showed us how our income and our taxes run a race,
with income straining every nerve, but taxes right in place
I watched 'em runnin' neck and neck, but alas, I have to tell
'Twas a most disastrous finish, where taxes rang the bell.
And if we go as we have gone, by 1991,
our taxes will be greater than our income. Gee what fun.
