SHUPING, Doris Kimbro, age 84 passed away December 26, 2009, in Lancaster, California. She was born February 2, 1925, in Judsonia, Arkansas and has lived in the Antelope Valley since 1955. Doris retired from Edwards Air Force Base in 1989, after many years of service. She was an avid square dancer, Dodgers fan, and loved reading, puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and her dachshunds. Doris is survived by, three sons and one daughter, Herman "Butch" Shuping Jr. and his wife Carlene of Lewiston, Idaho, Nancy Clark and her husband Bill of Fresno, Rodney Shuping and his wife Gail of Lancaster, John Shuping and his wife Stephanie of Acton, two brothers, Doyle Kimbro and his wife Mary of Merced, and Gail Kimbro and his wife Shirley of Coulterville, two sisters, Inez McFeely of Lancaster, and Jo Ella Jones of Carson City, Nevada, sister-in-law, Dolly Kimbro of Mariposa, seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Nettie Kimbro and her brother Jack Kimbro. Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Lancaster District Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donation be made in her memory to your favorite charity. Arrangements by Halley-Olsen- Murphy, Lancaster.
