Stephen J. Saksa, 43, of 73 Beecher street, a tool setter employed by the Remington Arms company 22 years, died last night in Bridgeport Hospital.
Services will take place Saturday at 8:30am in the Charles T. Pistey and Son funeral home, 255 Barnum avenue. A solemn high Mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock at St. John Nepomucene church. Burial will be in St. Michael's cemetery.
A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Mr. Saksa was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. John's church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Stella Fonk Saksa; a son, Ronald S. Saksa; a daughter, Carol Jane Saksa; his father, John A. Saksa, all of Bridgeport; a brother, John M. Saksa of Stratford; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Kollar of Stratford, Mrs. Mary Marchlinsky, Mrs. Catherine Svab and Miss Veronica Saksa of Bridgeport; an uncle, Micklos Halaj; an aunt, Mrs. Mary Cvach, both of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews.
