Born Jan. 28, 1923 in Rush County, she was the daughter of Harley and Dorothy (McCorkle) Becraft, both deceased. She married Kernel Kendrick Oct. 29, 1949; he preceded her in death Oct. 31, 1990.
Mrs. Kendrick was a laborer in the mattress department at Schnadig Corporation many years.
Survivors include sons, David Allen Kendrick of Colorado and Isom Mayse Jr. of Rushville; daughter, Betty Jane (Darrell) Sturgill of Whitesburg, Ky.; brothers, Ralph and Wayne Becraft of Rushville and Harold Becraft of N.C.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Louise Herbert; brother, Leslie Becraft; and sisters, Imogene Smith and Norma Becraft.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Darrell Sturgill officiating. Burial will be in Rush County's Little Blue River Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
