Clinton Adelbert Hayes, age 73, died Nov. 2, 1991, at his home in Georgetown. He was born Dec. 12, 1917, in Georgetown, to Adelbert and Vera Skinner Hayes. He married Claire McCammon on Sept, 7, 1939. He was a member of the LDS
Church. Although most of his life was spent as a Bear Lake
farmer and horticulturist, he also did work for Union Pacific Railroad and at the Conda Phosphate Mine. Recently he was helping Ray Davis at carpentry. He was also the Bear Lake County horticulture advisor. In 1952, he had served as director of the Georgetown Irrigation Company. He is survived by one son, Corey Delbert Hayes, of Bountiful, Ut; one brother, Russell, of Georgetown; and one sister, Mrs. Neil (Jaleen) Lewis, of Montpelier; his granddaughter, April
Lyon, of Provo; his grandson, Tim Hayes, of Tooele, Ut,; a granddaughter, Nicole and grandson, Corey Daniel, of Dingle. He was preceded in death by his son, Brent, and one brother, Verlin, and his parents.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 1 p.m. in theGeorgetown LDS Chapel. Burial was in the Georgetown Cemetery.
