Horace L. Pattison
Final rites for Horace L. Pattison, age seventy-none, Rockville road, will be held at 3:30pm Wednesday in the Flanner & Buchanan mortuary. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.
Mr. Pattison died Monday after two months of illness. he was a member of a pioneer Marion county family.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Bishop, Indianapolis, and a granddaughter, Virginia Bishop.

He was a live stock dealer and butcher. He married Mary Ellen Armintrout. They lived in Indianapolis and in Hendrick County, Indiana. They had a daughter Bertha Edna Pattison, born on Oct. 11, 1889 and died Dec. 30, 1955 in Indianapolis. She married Thomas Vernon Bishop on May 7, 1913 in Indianapolis, he disappeared in about 1917 and later declared dead. They had one daughter Virginia Merle Bishop who was born March 25, 1914. Virginia married Paul Swartzbaugh on Feb. 25, 1940 in Plainfield, Indiana. They had three children.
