Eber, was a man of simple taste, a great lover of the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an early riser, always starting the fire,to warm the house before the family rose. His favorite beverage was Sassafras tea. His obit states, "he was always ready with a quip or cheerful word, not one to worry or brood"..," he could always see the funny side of things" Well known, for his sense of humor.
Mr McKinney, had many occupations in his life time, working the family farm & family business as a teamster, a trimmer or electrician of street lamps, and finally a salesman for his small wood buying business. He sold wood to bakers for fuel in their shops and would then sale the leftover sawdust to the butchers. Often "Pop or Poppy Kinney" as he was known to his grand and great grands, would employ his own grandchildren to help him with his supplying business.

This bio was created from various information from family members, my research & the obit. Pop Kinney, knew me as a "new edition" to his many great grandchildren, but I do not remember him, as I was just 9 months old at the time of his passing.
