Linda A. Warden, 60, of 304 Third Street NE, died Friday (December 18, 2009) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, Mason City. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today, Tuesday, December 22, 2009, at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel, 126 Third Street NE, Mason City, with Major Vickie Cole officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service today, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the Linda A. Warden Memorial in care of Dennis Warden, 304 Third Street NE, Mason City, IA 50401. Linda Ann Noble was born on December 18, 1949, Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Gordon and Evelyn (Marson) Noble. She graduated from Mason City High School and attended Hamilton Business College and North Iowa Area Community College. She worked at McDonald's for five years and later was a bus aide for Head Start. Linda was united in marriage to Dennis Warden on November 9, 1996, in Clear Lake. Linda was a member of the Salvation Army Church, Women's Ministries, League of Mercy, Girl Guard Leader. She was very active with the Salvation Army. She enjoyed being a van driver for the Salvation Army and helping with the food, toy and school supplies distribution. She was also a member of the River City CB Club. Linda was also a faithful member of the Red Hat Society. Linda enjoyed crafts, crocheting, knitting, and cross stitch work. She also was a huge Vikings fan! Her greatest love was spending time with her family, friends and her two dogs, Cassidy and Cheech. Linda is survived by her husband, Dennis Warden, of Mason City; children, John (Kathy) Brass, of Mason City, Tracy (Bob) Hoveland, of Mason City, Kyle (Kelly) Warden, of Casper, Wyoming, Jennifer (Matt) Morris, of Union; her mother, Evelyn Noble, of Mason City; nine grandchildren, Jessica (Luke), Ashley, Nathan, and Geoffrey Brass, Jordan (Sam), Emily, and Michael Hoveland, LillyAnn and Jared Warden; and one great-grandchild on the way, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Gordon Noble; mother and father-in-law; uncle, John Harper, uncle, Lyle Marson, Carl De Bower, Aunt, Betty Marson, and Brig. Ellis Bohnwan.
