Death of Will Gerberich
Frank L. and C. E. Gerberich were called to Minneapolis Monday evening by a telegram announcing the death of their brother, Will. It is thought the remains will be brought here for burial. Deceased was a Vinton boy who left some years ago to make good. For a number of years he was employed by the old B.C.R.&N. railway with offices in Cedar Rapids. Later he worked for the Rock Island but for several years past has been located in St. Paul. He has been a sufferer from tuberculosis for a number of months and has been in the hospital for several weeks. (Waterloo Evening Courier, Waterloo, IA, April 28, 1915)
