Alexander Campbell "AC" Duggins was born March 26, 1851 in Lancaster, Garrard County Kentucky. His parents were Daniel Duggins and Mary Ann Kidd. He had 10 siblings. He married Martha "Mattie" Elizabeth Critchfield on Oct 7 1873. They had 3 sons, Louis Edward, William "Leonard", and John Medium. Martha passed away and he married a woman believed to be Sarah Goddard. To this union, a daughter, Clara was born. Sarah passed away. He then married Sarah Elizabeth Taylor Stinnett. They had three children: Josie "Rebecca" Belle, Mary Elizabeth and Daniel "Reuben". Sarah died in childbirth. "AC" then married Minerva Jane Cotter on 18 May 1898. They had no children. Minerva passed away and Alex married Cynthia A. Henderson. She outlived him. He passed away 19 Jun 1930 in Irvine, Estill County, Kentucky.

His death certificate states he was buried on the property of his sister Martha Elizabeth "Fannie" Duggins and her husband Granville King in Estill County, Kentucky. Several other family members were also buried there. This was known as King Graveyard in Hargett, Kentucky. One of these bodies was later moved to Crowe Cemetery and others to the Hargett Cemetery in Estill County. No marker exists for AC, but it is believed that he is now buried in the Hargett Cemetery along with the other removed family members. (This information was related to me by an employee of a mortuary in the area.)

8/22/2013 An obituary has now surfaced indicating AC Duggins was buried in Higbee City Cemetery, Higbee Randolph County Missouri.
