Linda Sue Bardwell, 62, a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother departed this life November 2, 2009 after a long struggle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was born August 17, 1947 to E.J. and Virginia Rawlinson of Hardin, Texas. Linda grew up in Hardin, where she graduated from Hardin High School in 1965. Linda was a 20 year employee of the Hardin School District, and a member of the Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She had an unwavering devotion to her family's well-being and happiness, and a tremendous compassion for others who needed help.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother Virginia Rawlinson of Hardin, husband of 41 years Bobby Bardwell of Hardin, son John Bardwell of Hardin, son Steve and wife Catherine Bardwell of Sealy, her grandchildren Bo, Lexie, and Jake.
She is preceded in death by her father E.J. Rawlinson, and brothers Larry and Ronald Rawlinson.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday November 4, 2009 at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, followed by interment at the Moss Hill Cemetery
