She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Barclay; and brothers, William Glenn, Carl and James Tucker.
She is survived by her sisters, Anna Doris Rutledge, Margaret Tucker and Mary Nichols Williams; and 11 nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Barclay was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Nashville and a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge. She retired as an elementary school teacher in 1976 from Woodland Elementary School in Oak Ridge and taught school in Japan during the 1950s. Mrs. Barclay was a member of the Oak Ridge Retired Teachers Association and TVA NEA. She was a charter member of St. Andrews Scottish Society of East Tennessee.
Graveside services will be conducted at noon Wednesday, May 3, 2006, in Oak Ridge Memorial Park, Oak Ridge, Tenn. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1051 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge, TN 37830.
