Verble Maye Jernigan Glass, 94, of Norcross, GA, died May 17, 2009. The funeral serviced will be held Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 2pm at Norcross First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Glass is a native of Hornsby, TN was retired from Sears Catalog and started the Penney's Catalog order department in Atlanta, GA.

Preceded in death by her husband, Palmer A. Glass, she is survived by her daughter, Brenda Glass Johnson and her husband Darrell of Norcross, GA; and sons, Ronald Alvin Glass and his wife, Nannette of Norcross, GA and William Michael Glass of Norcross, GA; sister, Vernese Haynes of Elberton, GA; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
