Services for Jay Olan Owen, 55, of Route 2, Franklin who died March 21, 1983, were held Sunday in East Franklin Baptist Church. The Revs. Harry Garner and Wade Childers officiated, and burial was in Union Cemetery.
He was a native of Transylvania County and a son of the late James Robert and Sylvitha Galloway Owen. He was an automobile mechanic and had operated an alignment shop in Franklin since 1970.
