Lorraine Agnes Boucher Holm, a lifelong resident of the Crookston area, died on Ash Wednesday, March 4th, 1992 at the Valley Memorial Homes-Medical Park in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was 68 years old.

Lorraine was born at St. Vincent Hospital in Crookston on July 4th, 1923, the sixth child of Wilfred and Parmelia (Riopelle) Boucher. She grew up on the family farm in Lowell Township. Lorraine attended St. Joseph's Academy in Crookston and graduated from there in 1942. Upon her graduation she worked at the AAA office in Crooskton, which is today know as ASCS. Lorraine was united in marriage to Walter Truman Holm of Climax at the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Crookston on November 22, 1949 with Msgr. Moses Dufault, presiding. Lorraine and Walt were both employeed by AGSCO until their retirement in 1987. She was a member of the Cathedral parish, the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, and the Sons of Norway. She was a former member of Catholic Daughter's, the St. Anne's Sodality, the South Lowell Homemakers and the Neighborhood Couple's Club.

Family members include her husband, Walter; a son and daughter in law, Larry and Jane Holm of Grand Forks, North Dakota; two daughters and sons in laws, Vicki and Rand Hughes of Crookston and Julie and John Duphorn of Fargo, North Dakota; eight grandchildren; two brothers and a sister in law, Robert and Gladys Boucher and Valerian Boucher, all of Crooskton; a sister and brother in law, Yvonne and Clayton Paulson of Grand Forks, North Dakota; a sister in law Alice Boucher of Crookston; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Rolland, Rosaire, Wilfred Jr. and Donald; a sister in law, Irene.

The funeral service for Lorraine A. Holm, will be held on Monday March 9, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with Msgr. Roger Grundhaus, presiding. A Bible Vigil Prayer service will be held Sunday, March 8, 1992 at Stenshoel Funeral Chapel in Crookston at 7:00 p.m.

Interment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Crookston, Minnesota.
