Niels Andreasen, a resident of St. Charles for many years, died Monday at the age of 97 in the Riverside Nursing Home, Plano, where he had been the last three years. Born Aug. 20, 1857 (three years before the civil war) in Alborg, Denmark, he came to the United States with his bride, Frederickka, in 1880.
