Elizabeth Green Hunt married Richard Henry Hunt 14 Nov 1848 in GA. Mother of five children, she raised them alone after Richards death in 1864 while serving in the US Army during the Civil War. He died of illness, not war wounds.
They had moved to Yell County c 1860.

She was born in Harris County, Georgia, June 27, 1830. Died September 12, 1914. Aged 84 years, 2 months and 16 days. She moved to Rover, January 1, 1858.

She was the mother of five children, all living. J. H. Hunt, the youngest is 54 years of age. She had a great number of grand children and great grandchildren.
