7 Nov 1876 in New Orleans, LA. Captain Edward Wilcox (DOB May 1843, England; DOD 28 Dec 1900, New Orleans, Orleans County, LA), immigrated to the U.S. in 1863. Captain Wilcox's occupations included steamboat hand and tugboat captain in New Orleans, LA. Their daughter, Elizabeth Maria "Bessie" Wilcox, resided with her mother after Captain Wilcox's passing until Anna's death.
