Funeral services for Charlotte Black Agee, 64, Athens, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Athens with Dr. Fred Lackey, Dr. Aaron Johnson and the Rev. Joe Teal officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Agee died Monday, July 28, 2003, at the Huntsville Hospital. She was born September 15, 1938, in Limestone County to Cecil and Ada Dee Dungy Black. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir since 1954 and served as financial secretary. She was a receptionist at Athens North Alabama Women's Health and was a former employee of Chemstrand in Decatur.
She is survived by her husband, James Avery Agee, one son, Brian Agee of Las Vegas, Nev; her mother, three sisters, Cheryl Emberton of East Limestone, Sherry Phillips of West Limestone and Susan McMasters of Decatur; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
