She was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Orange, N.J.
In New York, she attended Professional Children's School and The Gardner School for Girls and graduated from Barnard College.
She was an English teacher at West Nottingham Academy in Colora, Md., and was chairman of the English Department at Great Valley High School in Malvern visiting area Army and Navy hospitals with her sister to entertain the wounded. She was also a hostess at the Stage Door Canteen.
She was a member of Church of the Resurrection in Tucson, Ariz.
After retiring, she volunteered at The Church of the Good Samaritan in Paoli, Pa., and Tolsen Elementary School in Tucson.
She is survived by four sons, Reynolds L. Onderdonk of Bloomfield, Conn., Adriaan L. Onderdonk of West Chester, Pa., Richardson D. Onderdonk of Kingston, N.Y., and Julian H. Onderdonk of Glenmoore, Pa.; a sister, Marilen R. Geier of Exton; a brother, Robert Reynolds of Tucson; and six grandsons.
Burial will be in St. Mark's Episcopal Cemetery in Lappans.
