OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN) - April 9, 1941
Funeral services for August Schoeff who died in the Wabash County hospital at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Jones Funeral home. Rev. R.C. Plank will be in charge of the services and #burial will be in Falls cemetery.

Mr. Schoeff was formerly employed at the Wabash Cabinet company and for the past several years was the custodian in the Elks club. He was admitted to the hospital March 31 from his home, 68 South Thorne street. He had been in ill health since August, 1940.

The deceased was born in Huntington county to John and Louise (Wilhelm) Schoeff on Sept. 25, 1879. He was married to Ruby Goltry in Wabash in 1937 who survives.

Other survivors are four sisters; Mrs. Leonard Cochran, Danville, Ill.; Mrs. Dale Miller, Battle Creek, Mich.; Mrs. Arch Lutz and Mrs. Mary Ault both of this city and one brother, Rev. Ed Schoeff, Richmond. A brother, Will, died Dec. 25, 1940. The body will remain at the Jones Funeral home where friends may call. The Elks lodge will have charge of the services at the cemetery.
