There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Star of Hope Chapel in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Costello was born October 13, 1922, in Richland County, the daughter of Clarence and Stella (Tucker) McVaigh. She married Ellis Elkins. He preceded her in death in 1970. She married William Costello in 1984. He preceded her in death in March 2002.
She was an instructor and foreman for the International Shoe Factory and also worked at Kex.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Mrs. Costello is survived by nieces and nephews, Janice McGuire, of Olney, Sharon Allen, of Central Coast, Calif., Linda Phillips, of Olney, Carla Cole, of Olney, Michael Eckel, of Olney and Daniel McVaigh, of Dundas; sister-in-law, Mary Alice McVaigh, of Olney; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Stella McVaigh; husband, Ellis Elkins; and husband, William Costello.
