Estherville – Services for Burton Nathan Clark, 85, Estherville, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Fuhrman Funeral Home in Estherville with the Rev. Neal Armstrong of the Gruver Presbyterian Church officiating.

Interment will be in the East Side Cemetery. He died Thursday, June 27, 1985 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home in Estherville.

Friends may call at the Fuhrman Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Clark was born Jan. 2, 1900 at Gruver, the son of Charles H. and Anna (Feather) Clark. He attended rural Emmet County schools graduating from Estherville High School in 1918. He lived and farmed in Emmet County his entire life. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Estherville and a member of the Farm Bureau.

Survivors include one sister, Ardis C. Ankrum, Estherville; two nephews: Darryl Ankrum, North Richland Hills, Tex. and Dennis Ankrum, Gransbury, Texas; two great-nephews; three great nieces and one great-great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Charles who died December 31, 1964. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, June 29, 1985)
