Miss Purdence Stakeley, 77, died yesterday in Brackenridge, following a lenthy illness.

Miss Stakeley was born in Alladin and lived in Freeport until coming to Brackenridge, 25 years ago. She leaves her niece, Mrs. Lenora Deskins of Mile Lock Lane and two nephews, A. W. Ross of Mile Lock Lane, and N. H. Ross, of Jefferson Avenue, Natrona Heights.

Funeral serives will be held in the home of her niece, Mrs. Lenora Deskins, 113 Mile Lock Lane, Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Brackenridge M. E. Church.

Interment will be in the Freeport Cemetery.
