ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO - Margaret Catherine "Peg" Bevens, 54, died Sunday in Albuquerque. A native of Long Beach, California, she had lived here for the past six years. She was a member of the Hoffman-town Baptist Church and Lydia Prayer Fellowship International.


Survivors include her husband, Stan Bevens of Albuquerque; daughter, Jan Stephens of Sanford, Maine, and Beth Swift, in the Navy in Norfolk, Virginia; sons, Frost Newton of Torrance, California, and Todd Bevens of Los Angeles; mother, Julia Ward of Albuquerque; father, John L. Ward of Winter Park, Florida; sister, Jan Jones of Black Mountain, North Carolina; and three grandchildren.


Graveside services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday in Womer Cemetery, Pedee. Arrangements are by Bollman Mortuary, Dallas.
