Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) — Wednesday, October 22, 2003. Marguerite C. Burton, 78, died Oct. 19, 2003 at Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Va. She was born in Beaufort County, N.C. and lived for many years in the Suffolk area. Her husband, Thomas L. Burton, died in 1993. She was a retired payroll clerk with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue in Northern Virginia. She is survived by her sons, Daniel T. Burton of Stafford, Va. and Richard L. Burton of Berryville, Va.; a sister, Emily Russell of Vienna, Va.; her grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Kristine and Thomas; and her great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Rebecca. Friends will be received today from 7 to 9 p.m. at Money and King Funeral Home, Vienna, Va., where a funeral will be held Thursday at noon. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Va. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarke County Senior Center Building Fund, P.O. Box 46, Berryville, VA 22611.
