IRA--Funeral services for Mrs. William (Celia) Iske, 87, a long time resident of Ira who died Sunday at Ladysmith, Wis., will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Ira Methodist Church. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boyd-Nickell Funeral Home in Baxter until Thursday morning when Mrs. Iske will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Iske is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Carl (Ruth)Grensing of Ladysmith,Wisc., Mrs. Leo (Blanche) Beem of Bruce, S.D., Mrs. Roy (Lena) Taken of LosAngeles, Cal., Mrs. Ray (Edith) Taken of Lebanon, Mo., and Mrs. Clarence (Lilly) Bisom of Newton; a son, Elmer of Mason City; two sisters, Mrs. Edd (Pearl)Powleske of Mingo and Mrs. Lillie Rippey of Ottumwa; 24 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. She was a member of the Ira Methodist Church and the Ira Grange. The daughter of Andrew and Mary Trusler, she was born November 6, 1895. Mr. Iske died in 1922.
