"DEATH OF A PHILADELPHIA MERCHANT
Richmond, Va., April 7 - Mr. Thomas Hare, an old merchant of Philadelphia, was seized with apoplexy on Saturday night in this city, and died last night. He had been in Richmond several days on business connected with a New York House, and was attacked on the street. Being unknown, he was taken to the hospital. His identity was not established till to-day. He was about sixty-five years old. The remains will be taken to Philadelphia to-morrow."
