Mae is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Roger) Hinshaw of Bainbridge; 3 grandchildren, Tonja (Jeremy) Grubb and Aaron (Danielle) Hinshaw all of Bainbridge, and Tammy (Gary) Kuhr of Westerville; 8 great grandchildren, Tristan, Cade, Cordell, Trevor, Tye, Emma, Adler and Avery; a brother, Lamar (Faye) Steen of South Charleston and a special niece, Beverly Stevens. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother, Junior Steen and a sister, Opal Dickey.
Mae was a member of the Cynthiana Church of Christ in Christian Union where she played the piano and sang for many years. She also helped Rev. Russell Knisley start the Pine Top Church. She was also a member of the Red Hat club for a short time.
Services were entrusted to Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home of Bainbridge, Ohio.
