Mass of Christian Burial was held January 10 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz. Burial was in the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery near Little Falls, MN.
Peter P. Kaiser was born August 13, 1915, in Royalton, MN, to the late Paul and Francis (Cekalla) Kaiser. He grew up and attended country school in Royalton. Peter entered the United States Army in 1940, serving as Corporal Technician in England, France and Italy. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He was united in marriage to Darlyn Dahlberg on September 20, 1952, in St. Mary's Parish in St. Paul. The couple made their home in St. Paul, where Peter worked for the Armour Meat Packing Company for over 30 years. Peter retired in 1978 and moved to Pierz, where he and Darlyn purchased a home on Pierz Fish Lake. He loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed working in his garden.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tony, Clarence and Aloise Kaiser; sisters, Leona Gonsior, Rose LaFore and Loretta Fitzpatrick.
