Former West Resident Dies; Rites Friday

Funeral services for Rudolph (Rudy) E. Hikel of Waco will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waco. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery at West.

Mr. Hikel died at 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at Wilkerson-Hatch Chapel in Waco.

Mr. Hikel was born in West and had lived in Waco for many years. He was employed by the M-K-T Railroad. He was 55.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters; one son; his mother; and many relatives in West.
