Mrs. Frank Prikryl, 63, Dies Suddenly Of Heart Failure

Mrs. Frank Prikryl passed away suddenly in a Waco hospital last Friday, August 5, after suffering from heart failure. She was 63,

Rev. E.J. Polcak and Rev. Werner Bockholt officiated at Saturday's funeral services conducted at the Church of the Assumption. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary had been recited at the residence Thursday evening.

Mrs. Prikryl was born Albina Milberger, daughter of Joseph and Rosa Milberger in Waco December 5, 1891. She came to the West community at the age of 10 with her family. They settled four miles northwest of town and she attended school at nearby Denton Hill.

She was married to Frank Prikryl in a ceremony at Church of the Assumption on November 12, 1912. The Prikryls have lived here ever since their marriage and operated Frank's News Stand since 1935.

Mrs. Prikryl was an active member of Altar Society, KJZT, and Catholic Daughters organizations of Assumption Church.

She had been in declining health for the past year. she was taken to a Waco hospital Wednesday noon, August 3, lapsed into a coma on Thursday and passed away at 5:10 a.m. Friday.

Survivors are her husband, Frank Prikryl of West; a son, Robert Prikryl of Waco; a daughter, Mrs. Ollie Kubacak of West; two brothers, Albert Milberger of West, George Milberger of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. F.G. Gerik of West, Mrs. Chas. Toups of Refugio, Mrs. Joe Kabella of Temple; three grandchildren.

Pallbearers were C.J. Smajstrla, H.J. Kozelski, Rudolph Janek, Frank Cocek, Frank Seith, Alphonse Berger, E.J. Jerabek, and F.J. Hruska.
