Mrs. Stella Pinter, 64, of Rt. 2 Abbott, died in a Hillsboro hospital late Saturday, October 25. She had been ill the past two months.
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Abbott Catholic Church with the Rev. W. Pechal of Abbott and the Rev. Merkel officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at West. Marshall and Marshall Funeral Home, Hillsboro, was in charge
of the services.
Mrs. Pinter was born at West, the daughter of Charlie and Anna Hubik. She married Albert Pinter in 1913. They have resided at their farm home 3 miles east of Abbott for the past 34 years. She was well known in Home Demonstration Club work, having been a member of the Brooken Home Demonstration Club for many years. She was a member of the Altar Society and the KJZT of the Abbott Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Pinter; three sons, Alfonse Pinter of Abbott and William Pinter and Pat Pinter both of West; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Matula of West, eight grandchildren, Paul Pinter and Neal Pinter of Abbott; Jean Pinter, Joyce Pinter, Patricia Pinter, Jimmy Pinter, Larry Matula and Nancy Matula, all of West; four brothers, Chas. Hubik and Frank Hubik of Hubbard and Ed Hubik of Gardenia, Calif., two half-brothers, Jeff Hubik of Lott, Texas and Louis Hubik of California; one sister, Mrs. W. H. Giles of Atlanta, Ga.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Joe Prnka of Penelope, Texas, Mrs. Albert Michelewichz and Mrs. Mary Archer both of Lott, Texas.
Pallbearers were: Robert Matula, Emil Pustejovsky, Louis Hykel, Sr., Eddie Hlavaty, Frank Kallus and Charles Dvoracek.
