Ruth H. Fenner, 72, Pembine, died Sunday, April 28 at her residence.
Born Dec. 16, 1929 in Plymouth to the late Mr. and Mrs. Alban (Adele Luth) Fiedler, she married Bruce Fenner on Aug. 29, 1953 in Plymouth. She was employed for 25 years as the 6th and 7th grade teacher at Trinity Lutheran School in Racine, where she was active as a volleyball, cheerleading and softball coach. In 1988 she moved to the Pembine area from Racine.
Survivors include her husband; one son Darryl (Jean) Fenner of Washburn; two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Delanne) Jonas of Dunbar, Mrs. John (Lois) Marcson of Racine; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother, Edward Fiedler of Midland, Mich.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Fiedler.
Visitation will be held at Messar Funeral Home in Wausaukee on Thursday, May 2 from 12 noon to 2 p.m. with funeral services at 2 p.m. Rev. Jeff Stoopes of Grace Lutheran Church, Pembine, will officiate with burial in the Pembine Cemetery.
