A native of Vincennes, he was born on Nov. 15, 1921, to Samuel A. and Mattie Schockey Clevy.
Clevy was a member of Carpenter's Local 222 labor union and Foursquare Church of the Lighthouse.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Hall Clevy; a son, Mike Clevy of Washington; two daughters, Pansy Carle of Vincennes and Diane Clevy of Grand Forks, N.D.; a sister, Mabel Hussey of Vincennes; and eight grandchildren.
A brother and sister preceded him in death.
His funeral will be at 2p.m. Wednesday at the Duesterberg-Frederick Funeral Home, with Brother Terry Harvey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
