Roger was a proud paratrooper with the US Army during the Korean War. During this time, he enjoyed riding his Harley Springer whenever he could. He was a member of the American Legion Post 48 in Hudson NH for many years. He was also a member of the E.L.K.S. Lodge #720, Nashua NH and The Loyal Club on Nashua's French Hill where he suffered his massive heart attack the day he helped them move out furniture after their closing.
After he was honorably discharged, he started working for the Nashua Corporation until his death.
In 1981, without the blessing of his children, he married Florence Dionne whom he had an affair with that broke our family apart.
He only lived long enough to see 1 grandchild. Today he has 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren!
