Laura Irene Rose Born in Newark, CA on December 18th, 1912 and passed away on July 24th, 2009 in San Jose, CA at the age of 96. Laura was the devoted wife of the late Manuel F. Rose. Daughter of the late Frank Marks and Felicia Gonsalves. Step daughter of the late Julio Gonsalves. Sister of the late Evelyn Souza and Leonard Gonsalves. Sister in law of Eva Castro Gonsalves and Mary Rose. Loving aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Laura was a devoted member of the Five Wounds Church in San Jose, Irmandade de Santa Magdalena, Irmandade de Divino Espiritu Santo, UPPEC,UPEC,SPRSI and the St. Anthony's Lodge. Laura worked for Frank Dusterberry as a housekeeper for 7 years, 4 years in the candy factory and later worked 30 years for the Westab Envelope Company in San Jose until she retired. She was an amazing woman and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
