Matthew F. Zagoda, age 79, at rest Thursday, March 14, 1985 at St. Joseph Medical Center. Survived by his wife, Mary nee Lesniak, one son, Donald (Peg) Zagoda of Frankfort, three grandchildren, Kenneth, Janice and John, one sister, Francis (Mrs. John) Mammosser of Joliet, three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Josephine (John) Zagoda of Florida, Wanda (Mrs. Matt) Dulny and Stella Rodeghero of Lockport, one brother-in-law, Frank (Kate) Zaworski of Joliet, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Joliet. Preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Joanne Zagoda, one daughter, Gloria, brothers, Frank and John and one brother in infancy. Sisters Mamie Crnkovich and one sister in infancy. Retired in 1969 after 18 years as a machine operator at Caterpillar tractor company. Member of the KSKJ. Matthew Zagoda will be resting at the Tezak funeral home, 459 N. Ottawa at Chicago streets where services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. to St. Joseph's church at 9:30.
