The B-24 Army bomber was carrying four officers and seven enlisted men, missing from Davis-Monthan air base since early Monday.

Victims
The plane was piloted by
2 Lt. John Wasson of Tucson.

Galiuro Mountains is a mountain range in Graham County near Safford in the state of Arizona (AZ) which climbs to 5,791 feet (1,765.10 meters) above sea level. Located at latitude - longitude coordinates of N 32.60007 and W -110.350642.

This range covers an area of approximately 800 square miles. Of all the Galiuro Mountains peaks, Bassett Peak is the tallest at 7663 feet, Reiley Peak, Kennedy Peak, Muskhog Mountain, and Rockhouse Peak are some of the other high peaks.
