One of the oldest settlers of this area, Henry A Hoffman, died last week. After services in Davenport, Hoffman was buried Monday in Rocklyn, not far from the ranch where he had lived 89 years of his life. One of the founders of the local Assembly of God church, chartered in 1938 as Gospel Tabernacle, Hoffman was born in Minnesota and came to Lincoln County in 1883. He was widowed in 1969 by the death of his wife, Hermine. They were married in 1903 in Rocklyn. He is survived by 4 children, 19 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
