Philip Hosch Dies
Philip Hosch former resident of Little Falls while engaged in tailoring and as manager of the Hub Clothing store, died in Helena, Montana, Sunday. The remains arrived here yesterday morning and funeral services were held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the Simonet chapel. Mr. Hosch lived in Mitchell, S. D., after leaving here a number of years ago. His wife and adopted son, Claude, preceded in death. Burial was made in Oakland cemetery in the lot where Mrs. Hosch is buried. Philip Hosch, 76, brother of P. F. Hosch well known Helena real estate and insurance man died in his sleep early yesterday morning of a heart ailment.
Death ocurred at the home of his brother, 1503 Lyndale avenue with whom he had been living for the last three years. Mr. Hosch has been in failing health for several years, brought on by the affliction of advanced age.
The body is at the Herrmann and Company funeral home. Arrangements for service will be announced later, after word has been received from relatives residing in other cities.
Mr. Hosch was born in Dubuque, Ia., in 1857. He lived in Iowa a number of years and later went to Little Falls, Minn., where he conducted a tailor shop for a number of years. He engaged in this business until he retired and came to Helena to live with his brother. He was a member of the Elks Lodge.

Besides his brother here, Mr. Hosch is survived by five sisters, Mrs Bertha K. Weaver of Lewiston, Mrs. Mae E. Chute and Nettie B. Karcher of Berkely, Mrs Elizabeth Vaughan of Los Angeles and Mrs. Mary Dilworth of Mitchell, S.D., and two brothers, Nicholas who resides in Texas and Henry of Iowa.
