Lucy died while her husband was pastor of that church, but her gravestone, if she had one, cannot be located at the oldest section of the cemetery where numerous crumbled stones dot a mound east across the church's parking lot. The Milton town records suffered a flood and fire after Lucy's death, and a formal record of her death is not available in the surviving town records.
On Sept. 13, 1813 at an undetermined place, Lucy m. as his first wife, Septimius Robinson, s. of Eliab Robinson and Lucy Richardson, b. July 27, 1790 at Poultney, VT. They had five children who are outlined in their father's memorial.
