Funeral was Tuesday at Fundamental Baptist Church and burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery. Rev. Wilbur Simmons and Kenneth Burnett officiated. Pallbearers were Donald Greer, Herbert White, J.W. Pinkerton, Bill Anderson, Charles Harris and J.C. Miller. Honorary pallbearer was Raleigh Miller.
Mrs. Anderson was born March 18, 1903 in Texas. She married Ruben Sermons in 1921. Her second marriage was to Aubrey Anderson in 1951.
She is survived by a son, James Sermons of Decatur; two daughters, Eva Jo Lee of Decatur and Betty Hipp of Roswell, NM; a brother, James Williams of Grand Prairie; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Arnold Sermons.
Funeral was under the direction of Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
