DIED --- In Oswego, Kansas,
Saturday, August 6th, 1892, Mrs Alice Flora, aged 20 years.

Mrs [Kingsbury] Flora was a lady of pleasing address and possessed of more than ordinary qualities of mind and womanliness, She was kind and affectionate, just and considerate. She came to Oswego a couple of years ago to visit relatives, and while here met her husband who now mourns her loss.

Though but a couple of months in the city she made many friends, who regret exceedingly that life's journey ended for her when it had but apparently begun.

Rev Jewell, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Coffeyville, of which denomination she was a member, preached the funeral sermon in this city Sunday morning and paid a fitting tribute to her memory.

Clarence Flora has been unfortunate. As the loss of his store at Coffeyville a few months ago by fire was to be deplored, but his second loss is greater by far. A few years of Industry and frugality and the first is regained; the second is irrepairable,

He has the sympathy of all in is bereavenment --- sympathy which is heart-felt and sincere.
